FAQs
Questions
worth asking early.
What if one of our tools doesn’t have a public API?
It depends on the platform. Many tools without a public API still support webhooks, exports, imports, or documented integration paths.
For tools with no clean connection method, we explore middleware, scheduled data syncs, CSV import/export automation, or browser automation as fallbacks. We’ll tell you what is possible before scoping the work.
Do you work with healthcare-specific platforms like EHRs?
Yes, with the right access and constraints defined up front. Healthcare platforms often have stricter permission, privacy, and vendor requirements, so we start by reviewing what the EHR allows, what data needs to move, and whether the workflow involves protected health information.
If a compliance review is needed, we flag it before implementation.
How long does an integration project typically take?
Simple integrations can take a few weeks. More complex projects involving multiple systems, custom logic, field mapping, permissions, testing, or sensitive data can take longer.
We scope integrations around the workflow first, then give you a realistic timeline based on the tools, access, and risk involved.
What happens if an integration breaks after delivery?
We can provide post-launch support and ongoing monitoring. Integrations can break when platforms update, permissions expire, APIs change, or workflows evolve.
For supported systems, we troubleshoot the issue, identify the failure point, and recommend whether the fix is a patch, rebuild, or better long-term connection method.
Can you work alongside our internal development team?
Yes. We can handle strategy, architecture, implementation, documentation, or just the parts your team wants support on. We are comfortable collaborating with internal developers, IT teams, platform vendors, and outside agencies.
The goal is clean ownership, not duplicated effort.
Do you build custom software, or only connect existing tools?
Both, depending on the need. Sometimes the right answer is a clean integration between existing platforms. Other times, a custom portal, dashboard, middleware layer, or internal tool is the better path.
We start with the business workflow, then recommend the simplest system that can support it.
